Summer Youth in Action Program – Nonstop learning, nonstop fun!
This summer program from Windsor’s Youth Services Bureau provides nonstop learning and nonstop fun designed especially for teens to help them gain a greater appreciation of themselves and the world around them.
All activities have a focus on decision making, problem solving, self-identity, and critical thinking skills to help youth on their road to the future as well as academic skills specific to each week’s theme.
Each week includes field trips to enhance learning. Enrichment and social learning activities are included on all field trips as well as summer fun activities and swimming on some days at Goslee Pool.
This program takes place Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30PM, at the Community Center at 330 Windsor Avenue. $105.00 per week. Scholarships are available. Register online or at the Recreation and Leisure Services Office at 599 Matianuck Avenue. 860-285-1990.

Dive deeper into the arts: painting, sculpture, dance, musical theater, and more!
Week 3 July 16 to 20 Amazing Race
Just like the show, participants will explore other cultures, traditions, and customs!
Week 4 July 23 to 27 Fear Factor
Experience fun and safe risk taking designed to test how far teens can go and give them a thrill!
Week 5 July 30 to Aug 3 Stranger Things
Take a moment to appreciate the natural world around us!
Week 6 Aug 6 to 10 Finale of Fun
Celebrate all the fun of the summer with our final week blow out!
