Details:S.T.E.A.M Works uses Legos to provide opportunities for children ages 7 to 9 to explore problem solving activities using a hands-on approach to their learning and higher-order thinking. Students in the program will work with standard Lego materials to solve pre-engineering challenges involving structure, levers, gears, pulleys, and other elements of simple machines. Classes take place at the L.P. Wilson Community Center from 5 to 6 PM each Tuesday through June 5. $130. 860-285-1990.
