Stacy Phillips and His Bluegrass Characters are Connecticut’s premier purveyors of American roots music. They play bluegrass the deep, traditional way, sicking close to the True Vine and adding tunes from the fountain of old time music.
Stacy Phillips is a Grammy-winning dobro and violin player who will lead this all-star group of acoustic musicians. Andy Bromage and Phil Zimmerman (Traver Hollow and Last Fair Deal) share vocal duties and man guitar and mandolin, respectively. Pete Kelly (Michael Cleveland band) is on bass and Suffield’s own Joe Lemeris burns on banjo.
The Northwest Park Nature Center is a smoke free, handicap accessible facility located in Windsor, Connecticut. For ticket information and reservations go on line at www.northwestpark.org or call the Park at860-285-1886. Proceeds from the concert will benefit environmental education at the Park.
