Do you love taking photos on vacation or at family events but you’re not getting the images you want? Or maybe you are getting great pictures but don’t know why. Digital Photography Beginner is the course for you. All the basics of photography will be covered, including setting the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, working with depth-of-field, selecting lenses, backing-up, simple editing, and cataloging. The specific controls on your camera that mystify most beginners will be explained thoroughly. Basic color theory and practical lighting applications will be introduced. Everyone should bring his or her digital camera (with instruction booklet) to class, along with photos they have taken, saved as JPG's on a flash drive. Prerequisite? Absolutely none! Class is taught by Peter Glass, a professional photographer for over 25 years. His work can be viewed at peterglass.com. $125.00 for three sessions on June 5, June 12 and June 19 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Community Center at 330 Windsor Avenue.
