Mary's Place, A Center for Grieving Children and Families
Mary's Place provides a safe place in which children, teens and families who are grieving a death share their experiences, receive support and find comfort. We provide ongoing grief support groups for children ages 3-18 who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling, for teens who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or significant person and for young widows and widowers. Our families come from over 50 towns in CT and southwestern MA. Mary's Place is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Recognizing that after a death families may experience financial concerns, Mary's Place does not charge a fee for its services nor do we receive any state or federal funding. All programs are supported solely through donations from individuals, foundations or companies.
