Windsor Historical Society
Visit this jewel of a local historical society offering the public a variety of opportunities to understand and appreciate the people, places, and events that contribute to Windsor's long and evolving history. We offer tours and public programs for school children and adults, and maintain a complex of two charming 18th century houses on historic Palisado Green including the national award-winning hands-on Strong-Howard House. and a modern facility which houses evocative exhibition galleries, a hands-on family learning center, a museum store and a fascinating research library. We also offer public events and facility rental.
